The Construction Clinic is an independent homeowner guidance platform. It was created because too many people begin building work with permission, optimism and very little of the information they actually need.
The story behind it
It began with the same conversation, repeated for years.
Over years of delivering domestic projects, the same moments kept repeating. A homeowner holding a planning approval and asking what happens next. Three quotes that could not sensibly be compared. A variation discussed on site and never written down. A payment request that arrived before the work did.
None of these were caused by bad intentions. They were caused by a gap in understanding, and that gap was always widest for the person with the most to lose.
The Construction Clinic was founded to close that gap: in a room, in person, and soon in a digital portal that stays with homeowners through the whole journey.
